The data this week is unusually clean. Across 3,348 listings tracked, the overall sell rate sits at 32.1% with an average sold price of £11.10. That sounds modest, but look at where the volume is actually moving. Shorts are selling at a 53.1% sell rate with an average of £8.74, activewear is at 50.0% sell rate averaging £7.81, and the brands sitting at the top of the table are not the usual suspects. **Lululemon** is converting at 66.7% with an average sold price of £26.13 and selling in just 2 days. **Ralph Lauren** is at 70.0% sell rate, £16.35 average, selling in 8.2 days. These are real numbers from real sales, not projections. The market is moving into summer buying mode and the data confirms it.

The most important signal this week is the shorts and activewear combination. Shorts at 53.1% sell rate is the highest category figure we have tracked this month. If you are standing in a charity shop right now wondering what to pick up, shorts are your answer, especially branded ones. **Gymshark** shorts and leggings are clearing at 71.4% sell rate for £7.38 average. Buy those for under £2 in any charity shop and you are looking at a clean £4 to £5 margin after Vinted fees. That adds up quickly when you are doing volume.

Looking at the next four to six weeks, the key event is summer school holidays. England and Wales break up in mid to late July, and the pre-holiday buying window opens well before that. Resellers sourcing now will list into peak demand. Swimwear is already showing a 39.5% sell rate at £9.70 average, and that number will climb. **Adanola** has an 85.7% sell rate this week on just 7 listings, which is a small sample but points to genuine demand for the brand. Source Adanola now if you can find it, because in six weeks every reseller will have noticed it.

For sourcing strategy this week, here is what I would prioritise. Charity shops: target **FatFace** shorts and lightweight tops, buying at £1.50 to £2.50. They are converting at 66.7% sell rate and averaging £10.79 sold. **Boden** is at 45.5% sell rate with a £19.35 average, which gives you real margin if you buy under £4. Look for Boden linen trousers, printed dresses, and jersey tops. At car boots, target **Ralph Lauren** polo shirts and lightweight shirts. Pay up to £3, list at £14 to £18. At 70.0% sell rate and 8.2 days to sell, these are close to guaranteed. Facebook Marketplace bundles are worth checking for **adidas** activewear. The brand is at 47.6% sell rate and £12.35 average. A bundle of three pieces for £10 can easily yield £30 to £35 across separate listings.

**AYBL** deserves a mention because it shows up in the hidden gems data at 66.7% sell rate and £14.50 average. It is a UK activewear brand with a strong following and it is genuinely undervalued in charity shops because volunteers often do not recognise it. If you see AYBL leggings or sports bras priced at £1 to £2, take them. The buyers are there and they pay well. Similarly, **COS** is averaging £28.00 sold on a 27.3% sell rate. The sell rate is lower but the margin is strong. COS linen trousers, structured blazers, and minimalist dresses are worth picking up at up to £6 if condition is excellent.

The one area to steer clear of this week is luxury resale on Vinted. **Gucci** and **Louis Vuitton** are sitting at 0.0% sell rate on our tracked listings. Those are not items Vinted buyers trust at high prices. **Chanel** is at 5.0% sell rate with an average listing price of £343.15. If you have luxury items, use a dedicated platform. On Vinted, keep your price ceiling realistic and your focus on the brands listed in the sections below.

Essential oversized T-shirts and mid-rise cycling shorts

Adanola · Womenswear activewearEssential oversized T-shirts and mid-rise cycling shorts85.7% sell rateAdanola is an independent UK activewear brand with a loyal Gen Z following on social media, and it is almost never priced correctly in charity shops. An 85.7% sell rate from 7 tracked listings this week is a small sample, but it is consistent with what we have seen building over the past month. Look for the signature oversized tees and mid-rise shorts in neutral tones. Charity shops in university towns are your best hunting ground.Target: £2 Avg sold: £10.0

Flex leggings and Crest crew sweatshirts

Gymshark · Womenswear activewearFlex leggings and Crest crew sweatshirts71.4% sell rateGymshark is converting at 71.4% sell rate in 7.3 days at an average of £7.38, which makes it one of the fastest-moving brands in the data this week. The margin is tight at £7.38 average but the speed matters. Flex leggings and Crest sweatshirts are the most recognised pieces and sell fastest. Buy at no more than £2 in charity shops and list immediately.Target: £1 Avg sold: £7.38

Classic fit polo shirts (solid colours, size M-XL)

Ralph Lauren · MenswearClassic fit polo shirts (solid colours, size M-XL)70.0% sell rateRalph Lauren is the highest-volume high-performer this week at 70.0% sell rate and £16.35 average, selling in 8.2 days. Solid-colour classic fit polo shirts in M to XL are the bread-and-butter listings, especially navy, white, and red. Car boots are the best source at £1 to £3. Avoid bold graphics or unusual colourways as those sit longer.Target: £3 Avg sold: £16.35

Contour seamless leggings and sports bras (matching sets)

AYBL · Womenswear activewearContour seamless leggings and sports bras (matching sets)66.7% sell rateAYBL is underrecognised by charity shop volunteers, which means it is frequently priced at £1.99 to £2.99. At a 66.7% sell rate and £14.50 average this week, the margin is strong. Matching set listings outperform individual pieces, so if you find a co-ord, photograph and list it together. The Contour seamless range in neutral or dusty tones is the most sought-after.Target: £3 Avg sold: £14.5

Linen blend shorts and printed cotton smock tops

FatFace · Womenswear and MenswearLinen blend shorts and printed cotton smock tops66.7% sell rateFatFace at 66.7% sell rate and £10.79 average is a reliable summer workhorse. Linen blend shorts and printed cotton smock tops are the items to chase right now as buyers stock up for holidays and weekends away. It is widely available in charity shops across the UK at £1.50 to £3.00, giving you a clean £6 to £8 margin. Condition is everything with FatFace buyers, so only pick up Grade A pieces.Target: £2 Avg sold: £10.79

A 66.7% sell rate with a £26.13 average sold price and just 2 days to sell is exceptional for Vinted. Align high-rise leggings and Define jackets are the most searched items. The buying window for swimwear, lightweight shorts, and holiday dresses opens in the next two to three weeks as families and individuals plan trips. The listings that clear fastest include a flat-lay image with a tape measure showing the waist and inseam. Buyers shopping for shorts and swimwear are heavily size-confident and avoid listings that force them to ask questions. Add the waist measurement in centimetres directly in the title, not just the size label. A listing titled 'FatFace linen shorts W32 / 81cm waist, excellent condition' will consistently outperform 'FatFace shorts size 12' because it removes the barrier to purchase. This week's deep diveThe Summer Activewear and Holiday Wardrobe Opportunity: Six Brands to Source Before JulyBy James

Why summer 2026 is different for activewear resellers

The data this week tells a clear story. Activewear and shorts are the two highest-converting item categories right now, and the brands driving that conversion are a mix of premium performance wear and accessible outdoor lifestyle labels. Across 3,348 tracked listings, the overall sell rate is 32.1%. But inside the activewear and shorts categories, sell rates are running at 50.0% and 53.1% respectively. That gap matters. If you are spending the same sourcing time on dresses at 27.7% sell rate as you are on shorts, you are working harder for less. The brands detailed below are all currently performing above market average. Each one has a specific sourcing angle, a realistic buy price, and a realistic sell price based on live Vinted data. Work through the list and build your sourcing priorities around it.

Lululemon: still the most valuable two minutes in any charity shop

**Lululemon** is the headline act this week. At 66.7% sell rate, £26.13 average sold price, and 2 days average time to sell, it is outperforming every other brand in the dataset on speed and value combined. No other brand comes close on that combination. The most sellable items are Align high-rise leggings in sizes 6 to 14 (UK), Define jackets in any colour, and Swiftly tech long-sleeve tops. These three item types account for the majority of Lululemon's Vinted sales. Avoid Lululemon accessories, bags, or older print styles from before 2019 as those do not carry the same demand. Where to source: Lululemon appears in charity shops in university cities, affluent suburban areas, and anywhere with a strong fitness culture. London, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds, and Manchester are productive areas. Facebook Marketplace bundles occasionally surface from sellers clearing gym wardrobes. Pay up to £8 for leggings in excellent condition, up to £12 for Define jackets. Check the inner thigh of leggings for pilling before buying. A pilled pair will attract complaints and negative feedback. At £26.13 average sold and a 2-day sell time, your capital is not sitting idle. A £6 buy price nets you roughly £18 after Vinted's 5% fee and a standard InPost label at £2.85. That is a clean £18 return on a £6 investment within 48 hours.

Ralph Lauren: the car boot staple that keeps on giving

**Ralph Lauren** is performing at 70.0% sell rate and £16.35 average sold price, shifting in 8.2 days. For a brand this widely available at UK car boots and charity shops, that is a strong margin profile. The items that sell best are classic fit polo shirts in solid colours (navy, white, red, French blue), Oxford button-down shirts in M to XL, and crew-neck jumpers in cotton or Merino. Avoid Ralph Lauren items with heavy branding, unusual colourways, or any sign of fading around the collar. The brand's buyers are quality-conscious and will ask about condition. Buy at car boots for £1 to £3. In charity shops, buy up to £4 if condition is excellent. List polo shirts at £14 to £18 depending on size, with larger sizes (XL and XXL) consistently achieving the upper end. After fees and postage, you are netting £10 to £13 per shirt on a £2 buy. At 70.0% sell rate, the maths is compelling.Sizing note for Ralph Lauren menswearRalph Lauren US sizing runs slightly larger than UK high street. A Ralph Lauren US Large is closer to a UK XL in chest, and buyers know this. Mention both the label size and the pit-to-pit measurement in your listing description. Sellers who include measurements get fewer questions and fewer cancellations. A listing with measurements converts noticeably faster than one without.

Adanola: the hidden brand that volunteers price wrong

**Adanola** is the most interesting signal in this week's data. An 85.7% sell rate from 7 tracked listings is a small sample, but it is consistent with rising search volume on Vinted and an active social media community around the brand. Adanola is a UK-based activewear brand that sells at £35 to £70 new, and it is almost never correctly priced in charity shops because the logo is subtle and not widely recognised outside the target demographic. The items to focus on are the Essential oversized T-shirt (in cream, stone, or black), the Ultimate legging, and co-ordinating shorts. Matching sets in the same colourway command a premium. List a matching tee and shorts as a set, price at £18 to £22, and you will consistently beat individual item pricing. Charity shops in university towns and city-centre locations are the best source. Buy at up to £3.50 per item. At an 85.7% sell rate and £10.00 average on individual pieces, a co-ord set listed together can reasonably achieve £20 to £24 and sell within a week.

AYBL: the activewear brand hiding in plain sight

**AYBL** is another UK activewear brand that regularly slips through charity shop pricing undetected. At 66.7% sell rate and £14.50 average sold price, it offers a better margin-to-buy-price ratio than many better-known brands. AYBL's Contour seamless range is the most valuable line. Leggings, sports bras, and shorts in the seamless construction are the items buyers search for most. Matching sets, as with Adanola, outperform individual pieces. The colourways that sell best are neutral (stone, brown, black, dusty pink) rather than bold prints. Buy at no more than £3 per piece. A matching set bought for £5 to £6 total can list at £22 to £26 and achieve the higher end if in excellent condition. After fees, that is a £14 to £18 net on a single listing.

FatFace: the reliable summer lifestyle earner

**FatFace** is the most widely available brand on this list and one of the most consistent. At 66.7% sell rate and £10.79 average sold, it is not glamorous but it is reliable. The summer range is particularly strong. Linen blend shorts, printed smock tops, jersey stripe tees, and lightweight cotton shirts all move well. FatFace is abundant in charity shops across the UK, particularly in coastal towns and market towns. The typical charity shop price is £1.99 to £3.99. Buy at up to £3 for tops and £3.50 for shorts and trousers. List shorts at £9 to £12 and tops at £8 to £11. At 66.7% sell rate and 7-day average sell times during summer, it is a volume play that stacks well. One specific tip: FatFace linen shorts in men's sizes 34 to 38 waist are particularly scarce on Vinted relative to demand. If you find them, price at £12 to £14 and they will go quickly.

Boden: the premium play for patient resellers

**Boden** sits at 45.5% sell rate and £19.35 average sold, with a 10.8-day time to sell. It is slower than Lululemon or Ralph Lauren, but the average sold price is strong and the buy prices in charity shops remain low because Boden is not yet a widely known resale brand outside this community. The best Boden items for summer are printed linen midi dresses, towelling swimsuits and cover-ups, jersey wrap dresses, and cotton Breton tops. The printed linen midi dress is the single strongest performer, regularly achieving £22 to £28 on Vinted in excellent condition. Charity shops price these at £3 to £6 because they see a pretty dress, not a £25 Vinted listing. Buy at up to £5 for dresses, up to £4 for tops. The 45.5% sell rate means not every piece will sell quickly, so be selective on condition and print. Bold, distinctive prints outperform plain colourways. After fees on a £25 sale with a £4 buy, you are clearing around £18 net.

Listing tactics across all six brands

A few points that apply across the whole group. Include a tape measure in at least one photo showing waist or pit-to-pit measurement. For activewear, photograph the waistband label showing the size clearly. Write the brand name in full in the title, not abbreviated. Search on Vinted for your exact item before listing and price 10% below the lowest comparable sold price to move faster. Use InPost for items under 2kg. At £2.85 per parcel, InPost is consistently cheaper than Royal Mail for standard clothing, and the tracking is reliable. For activewear specifically, the word 'set' in a listing title increases views significantly when listing co-ords together. And photographs on a light background, whether a white wall or a clean floor, consistently outperform hanger shots based on the sell rate data across our fastest-moving listings. Next week we are going to go deep on swimwear sourcing. The data is already signalling a meaningful uplift in swimwear conversion rates, and there are specific brands and item types that are dramatically underpriced in charity shops right now. If you are near the coast or a major town this weekend, keep your eyes open. The Resellr Weekly Premium · resellr.xyz · Manage subscription
